Letter from the Editor-In-Chief
In this second issue of volume six of the Spanish Journal of Soil Science you will find six interesting articles dealing with a range of subjects including soil pollution, residue application and soil physical properties.
It is my pleasure to inform you that SJSS has been positively evaluated by the FECYT (Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology) as a quality journal. Together with this recognition, the Scopus index of this journal has been following an increasing trend since 2013, to the point that in 2015 the SJSS is already in the 3rd quartile according to SJR.
On behalf of the editorial team, we thank everyone who contributed to these achievements: the authors for sending the manuscripts, the guest editors for their rigor in the selection and review of manuscripts, the referees for the quality of their reviews, and the team Universia for its professionalism.
